Terms and Conditions
These terms apply to quotes, orders and deliveries from MR DOOR US INC, doing business as BARAVEN. Last updated: October 24, 2026.
1. How these terms apply
These Terms and Conditions apply to every quote, order and delivery from MR DOOR US INC, doing business as BARAVEN (“BARAVEN”, “we”, “us”). By placing an order or paying a deposit, you agree to them.
- If a signed quote, order confirmation or written agreement with you sets different terms, that document governs for that order.
- Submitting an inquiry or receiving a quote does not create an order, a dealer relationship or any other agreement. Dealer status and ongoing commercial terms are set only in a written agreement.
- We may decline or cancel an order for reasons including pricing errors, stock unavailability, suspected fraud or non-payment.
2. Quotes, pricing and taxes
- Prices are in U.S. dollars. Prices and availability may change until an order is confirmed; the price in your confirmed order is the price we honor.
- Sales tax is charged based on the delivery location, as required by law. You are responsible for any additional local or use taxes in your jurisdiction.
- Trade customers buying for resale must provide a valid resale certificate before the order is invoiced. Without one, sales tax is charged.
3. Lead times
- Custom orders are produced by our affiliated factory and typically take 12–14 weeks from the start of production to delivery at your site. Production starts once your final specification is signed and your 50% deposit has cleared.
- In-stock orders typically arrive 3 to 10 business days after dispatch, depending on destination and carrier.
- If a date changes for reasons in Section 10, we tell you as soon as we know.
4. Payment
- Custom orders: a 50% deposit starts production; the balance is due before release from the warehouse.
- In-stock orders: payment in full when the order is placed.
- Credit terms are available only under a written agreement.
- We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, bank transfer and check. Credit card payments carry a 2.0% processing fee, shown on the invoice. Debit card payments carry no fee.
5. Changes and cancellations
- Custom and special orders cannot be cancelled once production has started, because materials and labor are committed to your order. Before production starts, a cancelled custom order is refunded less the costs already incurred.
- Stock orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase for a full refund. After 24 hours and before shipment, a restocking fee of up to 25% may apply. Once shipped, an order cannot be cancelled; the return terms in Section 7 apply.
- Changes to an approved order (sizes, finishes, quantities) need our written confirmation and may change the price and the delivery date.
- Approved refunds are made to the original payment method within 7–10 business days. Shipping, processing fees and restocking charges are non-refundable.
6. Shipping, delivery and inspection
- Freight is quoted with each order. Orders ship with our partner trucking company or by LTL freight carrier, unless pickup is arranged in advance.
- We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, APO/FPO addresses or P.O. boxes.
- Inspect every delivery when it arrives. Note any visible damage on the carrier’s delivery receipt before signing. Report all damage, including damage found after unpacking, as well as shortages or wrong items, to us with photos within 48 hours of delivery.
- Risk of loss passes to you when the order is handed to the carrier, unless your quote states otherwise.
7. Returns and refunds
We accept returns for refund or replacement when a product has a manufacturing defect, arrives damaged in shipping (reported as in Section 6), or is not what you ordered because of our error.
- Not returnable: custom or made-to-order products; products that have been installed, altered or used; change of mind or dissatisfaction with design or color variation; returns sent without our authorization.
- To request a return, contact us within 30 days of delivery with your order number, the reason and photos. If the request qualifies, we issue a return authorization (RMA) number and instructions.
- Return the product in its original packaging and condition. You pay return freight unless the product was defective or sent in error.
- After we receive and inspect the product, approved refunds are made to the original payment method within 7–10 business days. Original and return shipping costs are non-refundable.
8. Installation and limited warranty
- Install products according to the installation guidelines supplied with the order. We recommend a qualified installer. The warranty does not cover products installed without following the guidelines, or modified after delivery.
- Products carry a limited 2-year warranty covering: warping of more than 1/4 inch on doors installed and maintained according to our instructions; factory defects in materials and workmanship; and delamination.
- The warranty does not cover: improper installation or modification; misuse, abuse or exposure to extreme weather; normal wear and tear, discoloration, or minor surface and natural material variation; damage that occurs after delivery.
- To make a claim, email info@baraven.com with proof of purchase (claims are open to the original buyer only), photos of the issue and a description of the defect. We review each claim and, where it qualifies, repair or replace the product.
9. Limitation of liability
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of our products.
- We are not liable for injury, property damage or costs caused by improper installation, misuse or modification.
- Shipping delays and supply chain disruptions are not grounds for a liability claim.
- Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for the products concerned. Where the law does not allow a limitation, the maximum limitation the law permits applies.
10. Events beyond our control
We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters; government regulations, restrictions or trade measures; labor disputes or workforce shortages; and supply chain, transportation or material shortages. If such an event affects your order, we take reasonable steps to limit the impact and notify you as soon as possible.
11. Website content and tools
- Website content, including text, images, designs, logos and the tools on this site such as the estimator, belongs to MR DOOR US INC DBA BARAVEN or is used with permission. You may use the site and its tools to plan and request your own orders.
- Without our written permission, you may not: copy, republish or resell site content, prices or tool results; collect site content or prices with automated means such as bots or scrapers (search engines indexing public pages are welcome); or show the site or its tools inside another website (framing).
- Website information is general. Estimates from site tools are for planning only. They are not quotes or offers. Product images show typical appearance; actual finishes, especially natural wood veneer, vary. Your approved quote, drawings and samples define your order. We do our best to double-check your drawings, but final dimensions are yours to confirm.
12. Privacy
How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing law and disputes
- These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
- Disputes are first referred to mediation. If mediation does not resolve the dispute, it proceeds to binding arbitration. Any court proceedings take place in the courts of Santa Ana, California.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect when your order is confirmed applies to that order. The date at the top of this page shows the latest update.
